It has been a full week

A little over a week ago our lives were enriched when a very small pink piggy joined our family. Our breeder is wonderful, Hope Tree Farm. This fufilled a life long dream of my youngest daughter who at 3 years old, while looking at a hog at county fair, said “Mommy I want a pig”!

We told her probably not, but for every birthday, Christmas, and other gift giving holiday we would hear “I want a pig”!

It was easier to say probably not until Tea Cup Pigs hit the news. Then it was easy because they were only in the UK!! Then just a few years ago they hit the US, but the price was Whoa Boy we can’t get one.

Fast forward to the beginning of July, my sister went to a soap making seminar, one of the ladies raised Tea Cup Pigs!! She gave us the name and number of her friend that is just starting out with breeding micro mini pigs. Since she is just starting out and doesn’t have a name as a breeder, she is very reasonable, especially if you agree to be a reference for her.

So after several trips to the breeder, to visit and hold Lil Pig, she came home on July 28th and our home will never be the same again!!
